I am Chuy (pronounced like “chewy,” as in “chewy boba”), the boba milk tea, and welcome to the Boba Money blog.

Boba Money takes its name from the well-known slang “beer money,” which refers to small sums earned for non-essential expenses, like buying a beer. However, boba money takes it one step further – in addition to earning these little extra cash, I will talk about strategies for increasing your income through career advancement, investing to make your money work for you, and spending your money happily and purposefully. Most importantly, I encourage you to identify your life purpose and goals and take actionable steps toward achieving them.

Occasionally, I’ll also share product reviews, book recommendations, insights on parenting, ask-me-anything posts, and other fun topics.

What are my qualifications? My human alter-ego, Gary, is a lead-level software developer at a major tech company. He shares his learnings through reading and daily failures so you don’t have to fail (as much).
